During the video, she reminisces about her Y2K beauty mistakes, her current aesthetic, and the lessons she learned from portraying London Tipton on Disney Channel. (I shouldn't have to remind anyone that Tipton was a hotel heiress and a quintessential style icon.) She also shares her experience playing Ali Lee in Netflix's Running Point. "I'm a bit more understated now," she quipped, noting that her beauty style from 2003 was vibrant—perhaps too vibrant. It's evident she sees some of her previous beauty choices as missteps. Picture a red lip, smoky eye, full contour, and what she calls "little worm" brows. "It traumatized me," she remarks. Nowadays, she favors a minimalist approach. "I like to concentrate on my skin—enhancing rather than covering up."
