      On September 30, the Khudozhestvenny cinema hosted a private social premiere of the short drama "Kroviks", starring Yuliya Snigir, Violetta Yamova and Nikita Yefremov. The film marked the cinematic debut of director Mariam Khalilova and the promising actress Violetta Yamova.

      Guests at the premiere included: Philipp Kirkorov, Andrey Malakhov, Marianna Maksimovskaya, Ksenia Solovyeva, Lyanka Gryu, Irina Chaikovskaya, Inna Kombarova, Evgeny Zabolotny, Tatyana Stolyar, Madonna Mur, Evgenia Milova, Grigory Tumanov and many others.

      Viewers noted the film's deep emotional component and the relevance of the issues it addressed.

      The plot of "Kroviks" plunges us into the world of ten-year-old Dasha, who lives with her mother Lera. Lera dreams of a better life and often takes her daughter to castings at advertising agencies, seeing in her the only chance to escape poverty. However, the pressure exerted by her mother makes Dasha feel like nothing more than a tool. Fearing she will disappoint Lera, she tries to be perfect: smiling on set, hiding her fatigue and fear. At some point Dasha makes a desperate decision to prove her worth and win her mother's love.

      A series is currently in development as a continuation of the themes and issues raised in "Kroviks". The screenplay is being written by author Vladimir Vasilyev ("Dead Lake", "happy end", "Unprincipled", "Krasnaya Polyana", "The Chosen One"), and the series will be directed by Mariam Khalilova. Negotiations have begun with top-tier performers; the lead role will be played by Violetta Yamova — her character will continue to conquer show business with all its twists and turns.

      Filming of the series is scheduled for the end of April.
