I’m going to Montauk, Copenhagen, and Madrid this summer: Here are 30 items I’m purchasing now and will pack later.

Every summer, without fail, I promise myself to pack lightly. Yet, as always, I find myself hauling an overpacked carry-on through cobblestone streets, regretting the six pairs of shoes I insisted I would "definitely need." If you can relate, you understand.
