31 Must-Have Beauty Products That Occupy Space in My 35-Square-Foot NYC Bathroom

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staff member, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items. Four years ago, when I relocated from Florida to New York City, I vowed to myself and my mom to adopt a more minimalist lifestyle. I aimed to curb impulse purchases, declutter unnecessary items, and only surround myself with essentials. Spoiler alert: I didn't stick to that plan. My medicine cabinet is overflowing with products, barely able to close, and I've had to get quite inventive with storage for my impulse buys. (There may or may not be shoes tucked under my kitchen sink.) Recently, however, I've become more discerning about the beauty products I keep in my tiny 35-square-foot bathroom. Only select items are worthy of being carefully stowed away on an overcrowded shelf, and I've detailed them below. This includes hair masks, powder blush, body butters, facial serums, and much more.
