      Making a case for the return of these shoes, Kendall Jenner and Iris Law briefly set aside their favorite loafers and sneakers this week for this sophisticated upgrade. Both styled their pairs with form-fitting skirts, using the shoes to elongate their figures while enhancing the sleek silhouettes their outfits already conveyed.

      Outside of the front row, Elsa Hosk embraced the trend too, teaming mid-heel pumps with a tailored leather pencil skirt and a boxy jacket for a look perfect for fashion week. Unlike stilettos, this style is much more accessible yet just as elegant.

      While fashion insiders are primarily pairing them with skirts of varying lengths, I can easily envision these pumps looking just as stylish with tailored trousers for a polished appearance—or even with denim for a casual yet elevated look.
