I consulted three Korean skincare professionals to find out which products they personally use—here’s what they revealed.

It's widely recognized that Korean skincare has gained significant popularity in recent years. From cleansers and toners to moisturizers and even sunscreens, I've observed a considerable interest in K-beauty offerings. Although this trend isn't new—having a rich history—there's an undeniable surge in demand for K-beauty products in Western markets. "Korean skincare is thoughtful, innovative, and the price points are accessible," notes Charlotte Cho, an esthetician and co-founder of the Korean skincare brands Soko Glam and Then I Met You. "It’s built on a profound cultural appreciation for skin health, featuring gentle yet innovative ingredients, and promotes consistency over time." Having used K-beauty products for a while, I understand how overwhelming these skincare trends can be as a beauty editor. Thus, I was eager to sift through the noise and discover which skincare products K-beauty enthusiasts genuinely use. To that end, I contacted several experts and requested them to share their daily skincare routines. Curious about the products they recommend? Keep reading…

      **K-Beauty Skincare Routines**

      1. **Charlotte Cho**

The first expert I sought to connect with was Charlotte Cho. As previously mentioned, Cho is an esthetician and the co-founder of two renowned Korean skincare brands, which is why I was particularly interested in her skincare routine.

**Soko Glam Lagom Cellus Gel to Water Cleanser**

"I always start my mornings with the Lagom Cellus Gel to Water Cleanser," Cho states. "It provides a fresh, hydrated clean without stripping my skin." The gel-to-water formula is rich in ingredients that support the skin barrier and enhance moisture, making it perfect for dry or irritated skin types.

**Soko Glam Acwell Licorice PH Balancing Cleansing Toner**

"Next, I use the Acwell Licorice PH Balancing Cleansing Toner to balance and prep my skin, followed by the Neogen Dermalogy Real Ferment Micro Essence (£33), which offers that signature long-lasting hydration that makes my skin feel revitalized," she explains.

      **Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50+ PA+**

After moisturizing, Cho swears by this Skin1004 sunscreen. "I never skip the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum with SPF 50+." I suspect this serum-like formula works exceptionally well under makeup.

**SOME BY MI Retinol Intense Reactivating Facial Serum**

In the evenings, Cho opts for this retinol serum from Some By Mi, containing retinol, retinal, and bakuchiol. "I use [this serum], which is a gentle yet effective way to renew and refine my skin overnight."

**Then I Met You Bong² Bounce Cream**

"I finish with the Bong² Bounce Cream, which seals in all the moisture and helps me wake up with plump, refreshed skin," Cho adds.

      2. **Jae Won Jeong**

I’ve recently developed a fondness for the Korean skincare brand Haruharu and was eager to reach out to founder and CEO, Jae Won Jeong, to learn about her skincare routine.

**Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Cleansing Oil**

Whether it's morning or night, Jeong shares that she always begins with a cleansing oil before following up with a cleansing gel. "Even without makeup, I start with the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Deep Cleansing Oil, which melts away buildup and sebum, leaving me with a refreshed base."

**Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant**

While Jeong enjoys hydrating essences, if she seeks gentle exfoliation, she turns to this popular product from Paula's Choice. "[I use this] once or twice a week for a smoother skin texture."

During her morning routine, Jeong always applies a vitamin C serum. Her serum of choice? Medik8's well-loved C-Tetra Serum, which contains 7% stabilized vitamin C, making it ideal for sensitive skin.

**Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum**

In the evenings, Jeong prefers a more hydrating option, specifically Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair. This serum is known for its high-quality formulation, rich in hyaluronic acid and the brand’s Chronolux™ Power Signal Technology, promoting the skin's renewal process.

**Haruharu Wonder Black Rice 5-Ceramide Barrier Moisturising Cream**

Lastly, for a nourishing moisturizer, Jeong recommends this one from Haruharu. "The Haruharu Wonder Black Rice 5-Ceramide Barrier Cream keeps my barrier strong and cushions my skin throughout the day."

      3. **Erica Choi**
