As a fashion editor with a passion for shopping, I'm always creating wish lists—whether it's must-have spring items to refresh my collection, understated luxury pieces that have caught my eye, or the latest from high-street retailers. This season, my high-street list is particularly long. With everything from sleek stovepipe jeans and trendy tassel accessories to some of the best blouses I've seen in a while, many high-street stores offer items that can enhance my wardrobe for the season, and this week, H&M has been at the top of my list.
(Image credit: H&M) With so many sophisticated options available at reasonable prices, we are truly spoiled for choice. From refined tops to flowing skirts and some of the most elegant dresses around, H&M has stocked its shelves with stylish pieces that can quickly elevate any outfit without breaking the bank. With my wish list growing quite large this month, I decided to reach out to some of the most fashionable minds in the industry to find out what they are coveting for their spring wardrobe. Shopping editor Florrie Alexander is eyeing some soft and sleek linen pieces, while fashion editor Remy Farrell has her sights set on a chic boat-neck, long-sleeve top. Meanwhile, deputy editor Rebecca Rhys-Evans, known for her edgy style, has been dreaming about a particular red technical jacket. And if you're in the market for denim, senior shopping editor Marina Avraam has her heart set on wide-leg jeans. As for me, I have a whimsical pink minidress at the top of my wish list. After gathering our favorite selections, I've put together a list of the pieces we're focused on this spring. Scroll down to see what made it.
1. Florrie Alexander
"I tried on this dress last week and can confirm it hugs the body beautifully, thanks to the elasticated panel at the back. Just throw it on, add some sandals, and grab a basket bag for an instantly polished warm-weather outfit."
"I'm aiming to achieve the effortless vibe that French women display in the spring, so I've been looking for a lovely blouse to elevate my jeans and tailored looks. As always, H&M has nailed it with this sleek, lightweight style that appears high-end without the hefty price tag."

Wide Linen-Blend Trousers
"The warm weather is here, and while we may still experience a few chilly days, the heat is on its way. I've found a pair of comfortable linen-blend trousers that will be a breezy lifesaver for the hottest days."

Knitted Boat-Neck Top
"It may look simple, but this black knit top should be regarded as anything but basic. While everyone has a white T-shirt in their wardrobe, a long-sleeved top is just as crucial, and a sheer knit fits the bill (especially in unpredictable spring weather)."
"Now that I'm known as the office's go-to sandal wearer (yes, all year long), it's time to add something fresh to my closet. I immediately halted my scrolling when I came across these leopard flip-flops. They are the type of shoe I’d wear now with an oversized shirt and capri pants, and throughout summer with a little white dress."
"And speaking of white dresses, any style that you can easily throw on gets top marks from me, and this flared-skirt dress will be perfect for the summer months. No fuss, no busy prints—just a well-made dress with a simple silhouette that you can dress down with ballet flats or dress up with strappy heels and a large clutch."

Tie-Detail Broderie Anglaise Jacket
"There’s something undeniably graceful about the classic combination of a white blouse, jeans, and ballet flats. This broderie anglaise style, with its delicate details and tie-front finish, elevates the entire outfit, making it feel far more luxurious than it is."
"As the temperature gradually rises, this oversized funnel-neck jacket in a soft, napped finish is the ideal layer for cooler evenings."

Wide High Waist Jeans
"I already own H&M’s popular wide-leg jeans in blue, but there's something about this ecru shade that feels particularly refined. I’ll be pairing them now with lightweight knits, and then transitioning to a simple tank and sandals as the weather warms up."

Lace-Trimmed Slip Dress
Nothing lifts my mood quite like a floaty mini in the summer. This color-blocked draped dress in a lovely pink hue will be perfect layered over jeans and paired with ballet flats or loafers; it’s versatile for dressing up or down. Plus, knowing that Iris Law loves it is a nice bonus.
