As much as I’d like to keep this to myself, this $41 fragrance from Target is simply too great to not share.
Although I’m fortunate to experience fragrances across a wide range of prices in my beauty-writing career, I've actually become less particular over the years, if you can believe it. One thing I've learned is that a great fragrance transcends its price tag. I used to equate higher costs with superior scents, but I’ve come to realize that’s not the case at all. A $30 fragrance can garner just as many compliments as a $130 one, which is quite comforting for my wallet. Admittedly, I haven't purchased a fragrance from Target in years. However, when I was younger, shopping there was a highlight for me. Exploring the fragrance section filled with Ralph Lauren and Clinique was a delight, but now, the retailer's fragrance offerings are better than ever. I recently found a $41 scent that immediately became a favorite. It's a dream for gourmand lovers: sweet, rich, decadent, with a touch of spice. Typically, I'd keep my "you smell amazing" secret close, but I can't help but share how fantastic this fragrance is. For all the details about this enchanting scent, the brand behind it, and some of my other favorites, keep reading.
**Scents Unearth'd Vanilla Crown Eau de Parfum**
Key notes: Vanilla orchid, vanilla absolute, cardamom oil. This fragrance introduced me to Scents Unearth'd. Honestly, I had no idea what to expect when I first sprayed it, but wow. Scents Unearth'd is a new player in the market, and this debut fragrance is impressive. The brand is inspired by cultures worldwide to create its distinctive scents. You might assume that, based on the key notes, this fragrance is just a simple vanilla scent, but that’s not the case. This particular vanilla fragrance has significant depth due to its spicier, nutty undertones. Allegedly inspired by Papantla, Veracruz, known as the "birthplace" of vanilla, where the vanilla orchid is considered sacred and linked to ancient traditions, it even has a festival that celebrates vanilla—hence the creative name. If you enjoy rich and sweet fragrances that envelop you like a warm embrace, this one is for you. I’ll be honest; I try a lot of scents as part of my job, and I didn’t expect much from this one, but I was taken aback by how well it blended with my skin. It has excellent projection and longevity without being overwhelming. The cardamom oil adds a slight spice that gives the fragrance a unique character and keeps it from feeling too ordinary. The high quality of the notes makes it hard to believe it’s only $41, but I won’t question it—I’m happy to enjoy that lower price.
**Scents Unearth'd Royal Milk Eau de Parfum**
Key notes: Almond milk, blue chamomile oil, vanilla honey. This exquisite scent from the brand made it difficult to choose a favorite. While it’s lighter than Vanilla Crown, the vanilla and honey notes provide a subtle syrupy sweetness that harmonizes beautifully with the almond milk notes. Sometimes overly sugary notes can be too much if not well-balanced, but this one hits the right note. It’s sweet and delightful while remaining light, airy, and creamy. Inspired by ancient Egypt and Cleopatra's reign, the notes reflect her reputed practice of bathing in milk, honey, and rich oils. In fact, the blue chamomile oil used here was sourced directly from Egypt. The Cleopatra connection piqued my interest even more because I appreciate a good story. Honestly, I can picture this is what she might have smelled like.
**Scents Unearth'd Floradise Eau De Parfum**
Key notes: Passionfruit, rose nectar, coffee extract. From the name alone, I initially expected this fragrance to be entirely floral, but I was entirely mistaken. The unique blend of passionfruit and coffee extract makes this scent stand out. Though different, it reminds me of some of my favorite Sol de Janeiro body mists in the best way possible, exuding South American charm. Inspired by Medellín in Colombia, also known as the City of Eternal Spring, this fragrance captures the essence of Feria de las Flores, the city's vibrant festival featuring parades of stunning florals. Instead of opting for the typical floral path, I appreciate that the brand chose to start with a fruitier note like passionfruit. It becomes utterly intoxicating when combined with coffee and rose nectar. Once again, it was challenging to pick favorites from this collection, but now that I've sampled a few, I'm eager to explore more of the brand's fragrances.

**BORNTOSTANDOUT Sugar Addict Eau De Parfum**
I haven't gotten to try this fragrance yet, but I'm obsessed with the Korean brand Borntostandout. With key notes of cocoa, vanilla, tonka bean, and sugar, this scent sounds perfect for my taste. I can almost
