The silver lining is that the weather is improving, and this week, as I traded my shoes for sandals, I took the time to review the runways for what will be the standout trends of summer. Despite the slightly chilly winds and cloudy skies, stores are beginning to stock summer dresses, along with linen and cotton basics instead of cozy knits—a clear indicator that summer is approaching.
