I'm an Outfit Repeater—Here are the Summer Items I Continuously Choose.
I’ve never been hesitant to wear the same outfit multiple times. When the heat makes it hard to think, I stick to my go-to combinations. These six essential wardrobe items help me survive the summers in New York City: tank tops, cotton dresses and skirts, sunglasses, cardigans, low-heel sandals, and non-leather flats. When I shop for summer dresses and skirts, I always look for labels that specify 100% cotton, like Cou Cou's pointelle collection. This fabric is light and perfect for the inevitable heat waves in the city. I constantly wear tank tops, and I’m currently looking at new options from CDLP and Flore Flore. Whether I'm in a dress or a tank top with a skirt, I make sure to pack sandals or flats, sunglasses, and a lightweight cardigan, and I’m set. Most days, I mix and match these staples, which are listed for shopping below.
**Sunglasses**
I always take sunglasses with me whenever I go out during the day. Recently, oversized frames have become popular, and I tend to reach for my bug-eyed pair from Chimi the most. Additionally, I’m drawn to classic designs from brands like Celine, Chanel, Khaite x Oliver Peoples, and Prada.

**Vincent Boulevard**

**Cotton Dresses & Skirts**
I practically live in dresses throughout the summer. Because I often take long walks or lounge outside, I find airy, comfortable skirts to be essential. I especially love 100% cotton options, as they tend to be the most comfortable in the heat.
**DÔEN**

**Enza Costa**

**FAITHFULL**

**Free People**

**Tank Tops**
I must admit I have too many tank tops, but to me, they’re like underwear—can one truly have too many? During the sweltering heat in New York, they are among the few things I can think to wear.
**Flore Flore**

**FLORE FLORE**

**Hanro**

**Low-Heel Sandals**
I recently mentioned that I never wear high heels, opting instead for shoes with a height of two inches or less, including kitten-heel sandals. I purchased a pair of now-sold-out Stuart Weitzman Minimalist 50 Sandals as a substitute for Manolo Blahnik's Callamu 50 Mules. For a similar option, I suggest Aeyde's Vero Mules. I've also been wearing a pair of Worishofer's 251 Slides.
**Studio Amelia**
Wishbone 50 Heel
**AEYDE**
Amara Patent-Leather Sandals
**Open Edit**
Tori Kitten Heel Sandal
**Gewls**
The Chiara Kitten Heel
**Non-Leather Flats**
When I'm out for long periods, heels just won’t do, and wearing leather ballet flats in the heat leads to blisters, so I prefer breathable options like mesh Mary Janes from Camper and neoprene ballet flats from Gimaguas.
**Camper**
Right Nina Ballerina Flats
**Gimaguas**
Bailarina Neopreno
**ZARA**
Neoprene Effect Ballet Flats With Pull Tab
**Tory Burch**
Romy Sport Mary Jane
**Cardigans**
You might wonder, "Layers for summer?" To that, I would respond that I get chilly, and the air conditioning in restaurants and on trains can be quite strong. I like to carry a simple black cardigan in my bag, as it pairs with everything.
