I Took a Close Look at Zendaya's Beauty Styles—Here Are the Absolute Best of All Time.

There are legendary beauty icons, and then there's the magnificent, almost divine presence of Zendaya. The award-winning actress is a true beauty chameleon, effortlessly rocking nearly every hairstyle and color imaginable—from auburn waves to a sunrise-blonde lob to her latest brunette bixie—and she is bold when it comes to makeup experimentation. Each appearance at press tours and award shows somehow manages to leave me more enchanted than the last, making it almost impossible to create a "best of" list. But after hours of scrolling through Instagram and digging into Getty image archives, I've managed to compile it. Below is the *official* collection of Zendaya's finest beauty moments, featuring her Maleficent Met Gala look, Spider-Man-inspired makeup, and goddess-like glam during The Odyssey press tour.

      2015

(Image credit: Dan MacMedan/WireImage) At the 2015 Oscars, Zendaya complemented her off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown (which she later rewore to The Drama premiere in L.A.!) with long side-parted dreadlocks, bronzy eye makeup, and sharply defined brows that defined the 2010s.

      2017

(Image credit: Karwai Tang/WireImage) Zendaya’s colorful Dolce & Gabbana gown is often regarded as one of the standout Met Gala looks of the past decade, and her gorgeous brushed-out afro along with a bright coral lip only enhance the excitement. It’s definitely one of my favorite Met Gala beauty looks!

      2018

      2019

(Image credit: Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images) Zendaya's flowing crimson waves from the 2019 Emmys will always remain etched in my memory. The rich shade beautifully contrasted her emerald Vera Wang gown, and I appreciate how she opted for minimal makeup: chocolate-toned eyelids and a touch of pink gloss.

      2021

(Image credit: Emma McIntyre/Getty Image) At the L.A. premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the actress sported extra-long cornrows and striking triple-winged eyeliner in metallic blue and crisp white. The look was intricate and mesmerizing.

      2023

(Image credit: Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) The queen of monochromatic makeup, Zendaya appeared angelic at the 2023 SAG Awards, showcasing petal-pink eyes paired with a matching glossy lip. I also love the spiky mod lashes that add a bit of edge to her fresh-faced appearance.

      2024

(Image credit: Jamie McCarthy/WireImage) With bronzed eyes, radiant skin, and long, voluminous curls, the star looked like a true goddess at the Dune: Part Two premiere in NYC. Those curls continue to inspire my beauty mood board.

(Image credit: Stefania D'Alessandro/Getty Images) Team blonde! Zendaya amazed with a side-parted, shoulder-grazing lob at the Challengers photo call in Milan. When paired with a vintage Ralph Lauren white tennis dress, she embodied both sporty and Old Hollywood vibes.

(Image credit: Mike Coppola/MG24/Getty Images for The Met Museum/Vogue) For the 2024 Met Gala themed Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, Zendaya embraced a villainous aesthetic with thin arched brows, dark eye makeup, and glossy vampy lips, finishing with a gothic birdcage veil. "It was a Maleficent-meets-flapper-girl look that was jaw-dropping," said WWW beauty editor Kaitlyn McLintock, regarding the viral style.

      2025

(Image credit: Kevin Mazur/Getty Images) Who could forget when she subtly announced her engagement to Tom Holland at the 2025 Golden Globes? Attention was drawn to her bezel-set east-west diamond and elegant peachy-pink manicure, but her "flame wave" faux bob (coined by her hairstylist Coree Moreno) generated quite a bit of excitement. The voluminous Old Hollywood bob trend that followed during award season? Not a coincidence.

      2026

(Image credit: John Nacion/Variety via Getty Images) Zendaya fully embraced "something blue" for the NYC premiere of The Drama, wearing a Schiaparelli couture dress, Tiffany & Co. drop earrings, and a halo of sapphire eye shadow. Her ultra-glossy skin left the entire beauty team in awe, and according to her makeup artist, Ernesto Casillas, Dezi Skin's Body Gloss—nicknamed "lip gloss for legs"—was the key to that high-shine look.

(Image credit: Vittorio Zunino Celotto/Getty Images) Of course, the bixie deserves a mention! I'm particularly taken with the swoopy finger waves she displayed at the Rome premiere of
