From Prada to COS—Here’s All That I Packed and Wore for Milan Fashion Week.

I typically advocate for traveling with just one carry-on suitcase. Checking bags presents a risk, particularly for someone who cherishes their clothing like family (please don't judge), so unless absolutely necessary, I prefer to keep my fashion items close to me to ensure a hassle-free flying experience. However, attending Milan Fashion Week is the exception. With numerous shows, dinners, presentations, and parties to attend, I required a wide range of outfits. The thought of not having my wardrobe to rely on if an outfit didn't work out on the day made having plenty of options crucial. Ultimately, I chose two pieces of luggage: Tumi's International Carry-On and a Rolling Trunk, both made of aluminum for optimal protection.

But you likely didn't click on this story to hear about my bags (or maybe you did). You came for the outfits—of which there were plenty. Before my trip, I did my usual pre-fashion week routine: I compiled photos of every stylish item I owned into a Google folder, which I referenced to create a variety of great outfits. This way, as I packed and dressed, I didn’t have to worry about what to wear. There’s so much to think about during fashion week, and my outfits shouldn't add to that stress. Below, you can see exactly what I wore during Milan Fashion Week to Gucci, Max Mara, and more.

      **Day One: Gucci**

Milan Fashion Week kicked off with a bang at Gucci's F/W 25 show, the brand's first after the announcement of Sabato de Sarno's departure as creative director. For my initial Gucci show, I opted for a casual blue button-down shirt tucked into a red velvet Blazé Milano midi skirt. The color pairing seemed very Gucci to me, especially with the velvet. Given the rain and slight chill in Milan that day, I wore tights for warmth along with a pair of chunky-heeled, round-toe pumps I recently purchased from Massimo Dutti, which are incredibly comfortable for walking between shows. To complete the look, I accessorized with all-black items, including Khaite x Oliver Peoples wire-rim sunglasses and my 1995 Re-Edition Prada bag.

      **Shop my look:**

      - COS: Oversized Tailored Shirt

      - Posse: Aurelia Column Maxi Skirt

      - Massimo Dutti: Heeled Shoes With Rounded Toe

      - Sheertex: Classic Sheer Rip-Resist Tights

      - KHAITE x Oliver Peoples: Steel Butterfly Sunglasses

**Day One: Dinner at Ristorante Berton**

I traveled to Milan with the luxury watch brand IWC for a pre-fashion week event, and in the evening, we enjoyed a welcome dinner at the exquisite Ristorante Berton. The food was outstanding, as was the company. For the dinner, I wore an Altuzarra dress from the brand's F/W 24 collection, which I fell in love with during its runway debut. The fabric is plush and luxurious, fitting perfectly. I also wore it during New York Fashion Week and didn’t mind repeating outfits—it’s that good. I paired it with a burgundy patent-leather Bulgari bag and black patent-leather Ferragamo boots.

      **Shop my look:**

      - Altuzarra: Stunt Long Sleeve Midi Sweater Dress

      - Ferragamo: High Nappa Stretch Boot

      - Bulgari: Serpentine Duo Top Handle

**Day Two: Antonio Marras, Diesel, and Brunello Cucinelli**

Day two featured a blend of shows, presentations, and cocktail events, plus a little shopping at a Céline pop-up at the Modes boutique. For the day, which ran from 10 a.m. to around 1 a.m., I chose a straightforward look: a navy blue sweater, a vintage Tom Ford for Gucci leather pencil skirt, and the only coat I brought, a chocolate-brown car coat that I scored at a recent Fforme sample sale. I love pairing pencil skirts with tall boots, particularly sleek ones like my vintage Jimmy Choo suede stiletto boots. I finished the look with my navy sweater and a navy nubuck-leather Alaïa Le Teckel shoulder bag, which surprisingly holds a lot.

      **Shop my look:**

      - MANGO: Faux-Leather Pencil Skirt

      - Calzedonia: 20 Denier Sheer Back Seam Tights

      - Massimo Dutti: Stretch High-Heel Boots

**Day Three: Max Mara, Blumarine, Emporio Armani**

In Milan, wearing Prada is a must—it’s almost a rule. For day three, I had no choice but to flaunt the baby-pink satin miniskirt from the S/S 22 collection, which
