Three individuals messaged me asking for recommendations on what to purchase before Sephora's sale concludes—here’s my brief list.
(Image credit: @kaitlyn_mclintock) As a beauty editor, the biannual Sephora Savings Event isn’t just another sale—it's significant enough to be noted in my calendar alongside my meetings and work deadlines. While I often buy my favorite products at full price (both in-store and online), the sale provides me a bit more financial leeway to add a few extra items—maybe one or two (or five)—to my cart. Here’s the catch: The sale lasts only a few more days, and many are waiting until the last minute. That's why I put together a short list of editor-approved products that I genuinely believe are worth purchasing. This is the same list I shared with three friends who reached out in a panic asking what to buy before the sale concludes.
For clarity, here are the specifics: Until April 14, Sephora Rouge members receive 20% off, VIB members get 15% off, and Insiders can take 10% off using the code SAVEMORE at checkout. Additionally, you can enjoy 30% off all Sephora Collection items. Since time is of the essence, let’s get straight to it. Keep scrolling to see my personal shopping list!
**LANEIGE**
Lip Sleeping Mask in Peach Iced Tea
Let’s kick things off with a classic: Laneige's Lip Sleeping Mask. I use this diligently every night before bed, ensuring my lips are always plump, soft, and hydrated (aka ready for lipstick) come morning. I recommend grabbing a small tub of the Peach Iced Tea flavor. It's fruity, summery, and a total pleasure to use at night.
**Haus Labs**
Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation
I attribute this foundation for convincing others I have flawless skin. It creates a smooth, perfect base for my makeup. Plus, it's noncomedogenic and minimizes redness due to fermented arnica, making it an excellent choice for those with acne- and redness-prone skin.
**Fable & Mane**
Shine Hair Mask
Fable & Mane's HoliRoots Hair Mask ($36) has been a favorite in my shower for years, thanks to its incredible scent and its ability to deeply moisturize my dry, damaged hair. Recently, I’ve started using the new Shine Hair Mask, which leaves my hair shiny and salon-like, making it seem as if I just had a hair gloss treatment. I highly recommend it.
**Henry Rose**
Mustang Sally Body Spray
I have a soft spot for Henry Rose fragrances. I adore numerous scents from the brand for various reasons, but I find myself reaching for this one more often lately. In my view, it’s the ideal summer fragrance, designed to evoke "blooming orange tree orchards of Valencia, brushed by the Mediterranean breeze." I’m sold.
**Ultra Violette**
Future Screen SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Serum
I learned about this sunscreen from Jamie, Who What Wear's senior beauty editor. Initially only available in Australia and Europe, it has now launched in the U.S. (much to the excitement of beauty editors). This ultra-light mineral SPF features a serum-like texture that absorbs into the skin and protects against sun damage. It’s virtually undetectable on the skin and works well under makeup. Trust me, you’ll want to stock up on this before summer arrives.
**Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare**
Derminfusions Fill + Repair Eye Cream
One of my New Year's resolutions was to incorporate eye cream into my routine more consistently. As I approach 30 in less than a month, it’s crucial. I don’t want just any eye cream; I want the new one from Dr. Dennis Gross. This eye cream is probably the closest to achieving under-eye filler results. With two types of hyaluronic acid, a plumping peptide complex, and kakadu plum, it effectively fills, firms, brightens, and lifts around the eyes.
**Patrick Ta**
Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo
It’s hard to convince me that Patrick Ta didn’t perfect this blush duo. Both the cream and powder formulations are highly pigmented, easily buildable, and blend seamlessly. I receive constant compliments on my makeup when I wear it. It’s perfection.
**Grande Cosmetics**
GrandeLash MD Lash Enhancing Serum
For full, soft, fluttery lashes, you need a lash serum that truly works. This one has been shown to provide noticeable results within four to six weeks—just in time for summer (just a thought). Don’t overlook the matching Brow Serum ($66) either.
**The 7 Virtues**
Clementine Dream Eau De Parfum With Vanilla
This is the latest fragrance from the clean brand The 7 Virtues. It has been described as "Italian citrus grove meets French Riviera." With
