As someone who is tall, I recognize that my height shouldn't stop me from wearing heels, yet I simply find them unattractive. Standing at 5'10", I already exceed the height of most people, so why add extra inches with uncomfortable, high shoes? This perspective can be challenging when it comes to dressing up, as flats and sneakers may appear too casual. When I’m not interested in wearing heels or flats, I turn to the ideal middle ground: kitten heels.
I’m certainly not alone in my admiration for kitten heels. Living in Los Angeles, I frequently notice people sporting this shoe trend at trendy restaurants in West Hollywood, stylish hotels in Beverly Hills, and lively bars in Santa Monica. The celebrity set enjoys them as well; Hailey Bieber was recently spotted in kitten heels on a date night with Justin at Alba, an Italian restaurant in WeHo.
