While I love the lightness of linen and the airy feel of cotton dresses, at heart, I'm a jeans enthusiast. My commitment to jeans remains strong even with rising temperatures—in fact, summer presents some of the most thrilling ways to wear denim.

      When the heat rises and the sun blazes, styling jeans turns into a fine art. For me, the key is selecting the right cut. Slim or straight-leg jeans can feel confining in the warmth, whereas baggy, leg-skimming styles allow for airflow, making them cooler and more effortless—especially when paired with simple ballet flats.

      Though sandals may seem like the straightforward choice for summer, I often lean towards the elegance and practicality of closed-toe shoes, especially while commuting or exploring the city.       Clearly, I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Two of my style icons, Lorde and Lila Moss, were recently seen sporting this very combination. Lorde chose slouchy, low-rise black jeans teamed with classic black ballet flats and a navy polo shirt, a simple yet sophisticated look that’s perfect for wandering the city. Moss followed suit in New York, pairing baggy indigo jeans with a crisp white long-sleeve top and leather ballet flats. Minimal, modern, and undeniably chic.

      This effortless combination strikes a balance between comfort and style, with oversized jeans offering a relaxed vibe while the flats add a grounded, subtly refined touch.
