Around this time last year, a highly specific shoe trend was at its peak. I'm referring to fishnet flats, a style sported by celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna, and Anne Hathaway. They were everywhere. However, as summer 2025 rolls in, fishnet flats are not as common as they were a year ago. In their place, another similar shoe trend has emerged, and Sofia Richie Grainge is already fully embracing it.
Over the weekend, Richie Grainge and her husband, Elliot Grainge, were seen dining at Cipriani in Beverly Hills, where the 26-year-old unveiled the shoe trend poised to take over from fishnet flats: fishnet heels. Specifically, she opted for a red pair of Proenza Schouler's net slingback heels from the brand's resort 2025 collection, which she paired elegantly with flowy black pants, a white tee, and a black duster coat. She completed her look with an east-west clutch, gold jewelry, and small sunglasses.
Richie Grainge’s exact fishnet heels are crafted from leather and feature a rounded toe and a sculptural heel, named the Tee pumps. This style is also available in white and black, but red has been the brand’s most sought-after color, selling out almost entirely. (A few sizes are still available, but you're more likely to find them in black or white.)
