It was anticipated that Gap’s collaboration with DÔEN would sell out quickly in May 2024. The collection combined DÔEN’s California-inspired femininity with Gap’s classic essentials to create pieces that blended timelessness with a hint of playfulness, all priced under $150. In response to its success, Gap and DÔEN are launching a new, 38-piece collection on Friday, May 2 at 12 p.m. ET.
“Our initial collection with DÔEN raised the bar for how a collaboration can introduce a fresh viewpoint to Gap essentials, crafting desirable pieces that left our customers eager for more,” stated Mark Breitbard, President & CEO of Gap, in a press release. “Collaborating again with DÔEN—an inspiring partner that aligns with our values—has enabled us to build on that success with a new collection perfect for summer.”

“We were thrilled by the excitement and success of our first collection with Gap,” remarked Margaret Kleveland, co-founder and CEO of Dôen, in a press release. “Our second collaboration combines the effortless femininity and timeless aesthetic of both brands while honoring the remarkable community that has influenced Dôen.”
The collection embodies a breezy coastal style with an array of nautical blues, eyelet details, and vintage-inspired gingham. Reimagined denim pieces feature an oversized denim jacket (which I predict will be the first to sell out) and high-rise, pleated denim shorts. The popular eyelet maxi dresses from the first collection are also returning in new colors and a shorter length option.
The Gap x DÔEN second collection will be priced between $34 and $158, available online and in select Gap stores.
