"I Feel Like I'm Experiencing My Best Life": Pamela Anderson Discusses Her Bob Haircut, Spring Traditions, and New Beauty Essentials.
Pamela Anderson has undergone some significant beauty changes in the past week, beginning with the new blunt bob she showcased at this year's Met Gala. Known for her golden, tousled hair and face-framing curtain bangs (the iconic "Pammy" updo is widely recognized), the sleek cut created quite a stir among beauty enthusiasts. "It actually started a few projects ago," the legendary model and star of The Last Showgirl shared with Who What Wear about her transformation. "I initially cut it for a film—just to shoulder-length—as a subtle tribute to my favorite Bergman actresses." (Anderson has always admired Ingmar Bergman's films, particularly Persona with Bibi Andersson and Liv Ullmann.) "For the Met, I wanted something bold, courageous, and committed—reflecting the theme of tailoring from head to toe for the evening," she clarified. A blunt, chin-length crop reminiscent of Joan of Arc—complete with baby bangs—fit perfectly. "I believe the world needs more of a feminine warrior presence, and this was my small contribution," she remarked. "It wasn't about looking 'good.' That's subjective. The dress by [Tory Burch] was the main attraction. I was simply fortunate to wear it."
With the arrival of spring, a beauty refresh feels fitting—there's always a sense of new beginnings in the air. However, a new hairstyle isn't the only beauty path for the Sonsie co-founder. Today, Anderson is reintroducing two revamped products to the brand’s lineup: Basic Balm (which has been sold out for the past six months, much to the chagrin of Sonsie fans) and Multi Moisture Cream (formerly known as Multi Moisture Mask). "They're the same formulas we all adore—with a little extra," Anderson explains. For instance, Basic Balm now includes a 1% hydrating peptide complex (in addition to the 25% bio-based squalane) to enhance and nourish. This peptide addition has even been supported by clinical studies, showing that 69% of users noticed visibly fuller lips after using it twice daily for a month, while 83% reported softer lips within the same timeframe.
What about the mask transformed into cream? Superfans can rest easy—it's the same rich formula with 12% glycerin and 0.5% hyaluronic acid. Now, you can enjoy additional benefits from these skin-loving hydrators—not just for the face but for the entire body as well. You can continue to use it as a moisture-boosting rinse-off mask or apply it as a traditional face cream, body cream, or overnight treatment. "Reimagining the mask as a true multiuse cream expands its possibilities," Anderson states. "It’s something we've all used on our faces as well as our hands, elbows, and feet—wherever it's needed. It's multifunctional in the truest sense."
The entire Sonsie collection, which includes these new and improved essentials, is now available for online shopping, along with the Sonsie Bundle that showcases Anderson's entire fresh-faced routine. "Sonsie is my whole regimen," she asserts, though she emphasizes the importance of other practices for connecting with her body and mind. (I think this is a crucial aspect of a beauty journey!) "I go outside every day, no matter where I am. It's how I start my mornings. I write until the sun rises, then I head out," she shares, describing herself as "very much a garden girl." (Her rose garden even inspired the creation of Sonsie's Cleansing Mousse.) These positive habits, it seems, will remain unchanged.
That doesn't mean she's opposed to change in the future—whether that involves Sonsie, another groundbreaking haircut, or anything else in her life that inspires her. Similar to the plants in her garden, Anderson is eager to grow. "I feel like I'm living my best life and surprising myself every day," she expresses. "Just like always."

As mentioned, this gently foaming cleanser was inspired by Anderson's rose garden. "I really wanted to include some rose essence because it's my favorite scent. It's transportive. It reminds me of home," she previously explained to WWW.
