"I Feel Like I'm Living My Best Life": Pamela Anderson Discusses Her Bob Haircut, Spring Traditions, and New Beauty Essentials.
Pamela Anderson has undergone significant beauty changes in the past week, particularly with her fresh blunt bob revealed at this year’s Met Gala. Known for her flowing golden locks and face-framing curtain bangs, the sleek chop came as a surprise to beauty enthusiasts. "It actually started a few projects ago," the iconic model and star of The Last Showgirl shared with Who What Wear about her new look. "I initially cut it to shoulder length for a film as a subtle tribute to my favorite actresses from Bergman." Anderson has long admired Ingmar Bergman’s films, especially Persona featuring Bibi Andersson and Liv Ullmann. "For the Met, I aimed for something strong, brave, and committed—aligned with the theme of tailoring from head to toe," she explained. A blunt, chin-length crop reminiscent of Joan of Arc, complete with baby bangs, seemed ideal. "I believe there should be more feminine warrior representation, and this was my small contribution," she added. "It wasn’t about looking ‘good.’ That’s subjective anyway. [Tory Burch's] dress was the real star. I was just fortunate to wear it."
A seasonal beauty refresh feels appropriate, as the vibrancy of spring signifies new beginnings, but Anderson is also introducing two updated products to her brand: Basic Balm (which has been sold out for six months, much to the dismay of Sonsie fans) and Multi Moisture Cream (previously known as Multi Moisture Mask). "They’re the same formulas we all adore—with a bit more," Anderson states. For instance, the Basic Balm now includes a 1% hydrating peptide complex (alongside 25% bio-based squalane) to enhance plumpness and nourishment. This peptide enhancement even has clinical studies supporting its plumping and smoothing claims: 69% of users observed visibly fuller lips after using it twice daily for a month, and 83% saw softer lips in the same timeframe.
Regarding the former mask-turned-cream? Superfans need not worry—you’ll still find the same luxurious formulation with 12% glycerin and 0.5% hyaluronic acid. Now, you can enjoy a plethora of benefits from these skin-loving hydrators, not only for your face but for your entire body too. Feel free to continue using it as a moisture-enhancing rinse-off mask, or apply it as a traditional face cream, body cream, or overnight treatment. "Reimagining the mask as a true multiuse cream opens up more possibilities," Anderson shares. "It's something we’ve all been applying to our faces but also to our hands, elbows, feet—wherever it’s needed. It’s multifunctional in every sense."
The full Sonsie collection—including these two newly enhanced staples—is now available online, along with the Sonsie Bundle, which showcases Anderson's complete fresh-faced routine. "Sonsie is my entire regimen," she asserts, while also emphasizing the importance of other practices that connect her body and mind. "I make it a point to walk outside every day, regardless of where I am. That’s how I start my mornings. I write until the sun rises, then I'm out the door," she describes, identifying as "very much a garden girl." (Her rose garden even inspired the launch of Sonsie's Cleansing Mousse.) These lovely habits seem to be a constant in her life.
However, that doesn’t mean she isn’t open to evolution in the future—whether it’s with Sonsie, another show-stopping haircut, or anything else that inspires her. Much like the plants in her garden, Anderson is eager to flourish. "I feel like I'm living my best life and surprising myself every day," she shares. "Just like always."

Multi Moisture Cream
This adaptable cream melts into the skin like butter. Imagine enveloping your skin in a luxurious cashmere blanket—that’s precisely what Multi Moisture Cream feels like.
As noted, this gently foaming cleanser draws inspiration from Anderson's rose garden. "I really wanted to incorporate some rose essence because it’s my favorite scent. It’s transporting. It reminds me of home," she previously told WWW.
With 4% niacinamide and 2% mountain pepper extract, this calming serum alleviates inflammation, bolsters the skin barrier, and imparts a healthy, dewy glow.
