When the singer was spotted at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, I immediately focused on her artistic yet refined nails (after noticing her Speedcat sneakers, of course). At first glance, the manicure looks sheer and milky, but a closer look reveals some stunning, strategically placed shiny accents.       Technically, Lipa has flaunted this manicure for a while. She first posted pictures of her starry tips in Hamburg, Germany, during the European segment of her Radical Optimism Tour. It’s safe to say she loves the look, crafted by celebrity manicurist Michelle Class, since the pop star opted to keep it for her appearance at the Monaco Grand Prix in Monte Carlo a couple of weeks ago—and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.

      A closer examination of the design makes it clear why Lipa favors it so much. The sheer pink base features an ultra-glossy finish, resembling nails dipped in rosewater; this aesthetic, aptly named the "watery nail" trend, has become one of summer's most elegant polish choices. (Imagine milky nails but even more sheer and luminous.)

      As if one sophisticated nail trend weren’t enough, the manicure also showcases tiny silver stars scattered across the nail plate.       While Class didn’t disclose the specific polish used for Lipa's watery base, she did tag European brands Kinetics Beauty and Lucy Pastorelli Tools on Instagram.
