      As a fashion editor, I approach the integration of trends into my wardrobe with strategy and intention. A trend must feel both exploratory and timely while aligning with the unspoken dress code I’ve established for myself. I certainly can't try every trend my colleagues predict or see on the streets of NYC. However, I believe some trends are essentially cult classics rebranded as style disruptors just for the fun of it. Take the suiting trend, for instance, which has existed for decades in and out of the corporate world. Although suiting may not be the most contentious trend, we've seen it styled boldly this year at The Met and playfully in everyday fashion. It becomes even more impactful when paired with a timepiece—another classic that has made a successful comeback in the trend cycle. It would be remiss to discuss the enduring nature of a trend like this without sharing my styling tips. Here’s everything you need to look sharp this summer: Cartier Santos-Dumont Watch, Juste un Clou Earrings, Love Bracelet; Malene Birger suit; Thom Browne tie.

      Can anything be more iconic than the classic suit and tie? Fashion enthusiasts have completely transformed this look, bridging the divide between menswear and womenswear. What was once seen as the sole acceptable attire for corporate America has evolved into a style that transcends professions and occasions. Take this outfit as an example. An oversized blazer is paired with trouser shorts, effortlessly blurring the lines between “Let’s grab a drink!” and “I mean business.” The slingback kitten heels, paired with yellow gold jewelry, add a delicate touch to the ensemble.       I'm a strong proponent of an all-white outfit for summer. Although this combination isn’t a traditional matching two-piece suit, it can be viewed as a deconstructed version. The white blazer features a discreet yet effective cinched waist that creates an hourglass silhouette. Rather than opting for typical white slacks, we chose white denim, keeping the outfit light and fresh for the season. If you want to add a splash of color without straying too far from neutrals, introduce a new hue to the palette.       Let’s return to the fundamentals. Of all the looks we’ve discussed, this one feels the most classic. Yet traditional doesn’t have to mean dull.
