It's Here: The It-Girl Skirt Trend to Pair with Flats This Summer

      Occasionally, when two celebrities don the same piece, it's simply by chance. However, at times, it signifies an emerging trend. In this instance, I believe it's the latter. You might remember that last summer, the luxurious look was still thriving, with white midi skirts serving as a key element of the style. This summer, a few skirt trends are vying to take their place, and Gigi Hadid and Sofia Richie have both been seen in one of those trends: yellow slip skirts.

      Hadid was spotted wearing hers with a yellow polo shirt, leather Miu Miu jacket, and Miu Miu loafers while heading to dinner with Bradley Cooper. On the other hand, Richie shared a photo of herself in a yellow slip skirt paired with a white tank top, a white Chanel bag, and white Alaïa flats during her vacation in Saint-Tropez. The two style icons showcased their yellow slip skirts in distinctly different fashions, yet both opted for flat shoes to complement the look. Interpret that as you will, but I don't believe this will be the last time we see this combination before summer concludes.
