Two months ago, it wasn't a new Louis Vuitton handbag making headlines; instead, it was a pair of sneakers. Named the Sneakerinas, these shoes made a splash upon their debut. Louis Vuitton described them as a creation that plays on contrasts and evokes emotions with their hybrid design, blending elements of sneakers and modern ballet flats. "This model is notably dynamic and sleek, merging freedom of movement with unmatched agility," the brand stated in a press release. Priced at $975, these LV sneakers are more affordable than the brand's bags, yet they still represent a significant investment. For a great alternative priced at $85, consider the Vans Super Lowpro Shoes, which actually launched a month prior to the Sneakerinas. Drawing inspiration from '80s designs in Vans's archives, the Super Lowpro Shoes are distinctly slimmer and lighter than the brand's classic styles like the Old Skool and Authentic.
