      If you've recently looked up the weather in NYC, you know it’s about to get really hot—the type of heat that makes you feel like you're melting in the humidity. This heat wave has forced me to face an inconvenient reality: despite being someone who usually prepares, I haven’t done much summer shopping this year.       At the moment, I’m in search of easy dresses, anything with polka dots, breathable tank tops, comfortable kitten heels, cotton skirts, and light walking shoes that don’t make my feet feel trapped in a sauna.
