New Ritz Paris Bakery Concours
In June, the legendary Ritz Paris hotel opened a pastry shop at 45 rue de Sèvres. Guests and residents of the Left Bank can indulge in sweet masterpieces without crossing the Seine.
Exclusively for the new sweets boutique, éclairs with coffee cream were created. The refined interiors are inevitably associated with the flagship Ritz Paris Le Comptoir at 38 rue Cambon. Immediately catching the eye are the display windows, designed like luxurious jewelry boxes. The characteristic arches resemble the architectural ensemble of Place Vendôme, and the handcrafted lamps repeat the contours of the iconic madeleine pastry of Ritz Paris. Finally, the recognizable counter sets the relaxed atmosphere of this extraordinary place, which is already becoming familiar to Parisians.
The assortment is truly dazzling. It includes the famous mille-feuille, Viennese pastries, marble cupcakes, and seasonal baked goods. The elongated shapes make them perfect companions for strolls through picturesque Parisian streets — delicious and practical. There are also beloved dessert drinks with airy creamy mousse, originally conceived as delicacies for Ritz Paris regulars, which have revolutionized the world of taste. A special pride is the signature Ritz Paris Le Comptoir coffee blend with hints of chocolate and caramel, a bouquet of yellow fruits, and a fleeting floral aroma. This blend is crafted for true connoisseurs in collaboration with Lomi, one of the first companies in Paris to roast coffee, sourcing raw materials from the best plantations around the world. This unique mixture, with a perfectly balanced rich flavor, is made from beans from three terroirs of the coffee belt — Ethiopia, Colombia, and Honduras.
Additionally, you can purchase teddy bear chocolates, various types of tea, champagnes, scented candles inspired by favorite desserts, and kitchenware as gifts. Located opposite the Bon Marché department store, this pastry boutique is sure to become a landmark in the most creative district of Paris.
