If you're not familiar with the Los Angeles-based styling duo Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo, you will certainly recognize their impressive roster of clients, which includes Olivia Rodrigo, Addison Rae, and Rosalía. Recently, the sibling creative pair ventured into the motorsports arena by designing a series of stunning outfits for Tate McRae's new music video "Just Keep Watching," featured on the official F1 soundtrack. We had the opportunity to speak with the Delgadillos about this exciting project, and they provided insights into the experience of creating this memorable musical scene on set. "We loved watching it all come together! Every department was filled with talented individuals, making the collaboration seamless. It's uncommon to be in a space where the team is so open to each other's ideas," they shared.
Upon watching the video, it's evident that a great deal of thought went into ensuring that all the outfits exuded a polished vibe. The Delgadillos were meticulous about the details while designing each ensemble. "Everything begins with the mood board, and for this specific project, we followed a very futuristic and precise direction for the sets. Once we saw everything come to life, we realized that all the outfits needed to be sleek and straightforward to allow Tate to shine. We aimed to avoid overshadowing her with extravagant outfits. Each look was purposefully designed," the sisters said.

Outfit #1: Endurance
Tate McRae dons a vintage Tom Ford for Gucci S/S 00 bodysuit and Zellous heels. Chenelle remarked, "Tate looks fantastic in Tom Ford Gucci pieces. We loved his swimwear on her but wanted to create an athletic appearance that wasn't overtly 'athlete.' This look is sexy and sleek while still referencing endurance."
Outfit #2: Void
McRae is dressed in an archival Yves Saint Laurent S/S 03 top, Skims bottoms, Wolford tights, and Alaïa heels. Chenelle explained, "Tom Ford described his YSL S/S 03 collection as 'surreal but subtle.' We wanted Tate to embody this, appearing dreamlike and elusive in the most minimal way. As the first look of the video, we used this as the basis for the subsequent outfits."
Outfit #3: Topcoat
McRae wears a Balenciaga bandeau, leggings, and heels. Chloe noted, "This is Tate's final look, symbolizing a car's 'final topcoat' before it's ready for use. We wanted her to stand out against all the drivers while still ensuring this look felt cohesive with the others. A single pop of color here effectively showcased the final product being developed throughout the video."
Outfit #4: Floor
McRae showcases a Los Angeles Apparel bodysuit, Wolford tights, and Courrèges boots. Chenelle commented, "This look pays homage to '80s dancewear. Functionality was our primary focus. The sleek and monochromatic design really allowed her choreography to shine."
