One of my favorite summer events for spectators is here: Paris Haute Couture Week. A plethora of the most stylish celebrities gather for this biannual occasion, and you're bound to see them flaunting the latest trends and must-have items. This season, Keira Knightley made an appearance and was photographed in an ensemble that perfectly combined current summer styles with autumn essentials. (I hear it was unusually chilly in Paris.)
While the upper part of Knightley's outfit was leaning towards fall, the lower part featured the summer staple of jeans and shoes that I've noticed elegant dressers frequently wear. It's an ensemble that's both playful and entirely sophisticated: white jeans paired with charm-adorned flats. The trend of embellishing basic flats with charms first gained popularity last summer, thanks to Chanel's introduction of their highly sought-after Mary Janes adorned with whimsical gold charms along the straps (the exact ones Knightley is wearing), with many other brands now following suit.
