The largest roller coaster in Russia with free-spinning cars will appear at the "Dream Island."
Guests will be able to ride the attraction as early as 2026
Construction continues on the open amusement park in the "Dream Island" entertainment and cultural cluster, featuring the most extreme roller coasters. One of the main attractions will be the largest sliding hill in Russia with free-rotating cabins. This unique ride, measuring 392 meters in length, has been created by one of the world’s leading manufacturers and will pose a real challenge for adrenaline seekers.
On this hill, visitors will experience a whirlwind of emotions: sudden climbs and drops at speeds of up to 60 km/h in cabins that rotate around their axis 360 degrees. This dynamic movement makes each ride unpredictable and exciting. The trains consist of three cabins, each accommodating four people sitting face-to-face, enhancing the feeling of immersion.
"Every ride on this attraction will be like a new adventure: thanks to its construction features, the cabins rotate differently depending on the weight and seating of the passengers. It creates an impression that the attraction itself is playing with you—thrilling and unpredictable. And every time—with a new scenario," comments Gleb Paul, Technical Director of "Dream Island."
"The installation of the attraction begins with the preliminary positioning of the columns and track sections, followed by precise leveling and assembly of all structural elements. The supporting columns are fixed with a special non-shrink mixture to ensure strength and stability. Mechanical assembly of the attraction will be completed by the end of this summer," he explains.
The installation control is carried out by employees of the managing company JSC HK "Dream Island," who previously worked on the opening of industry-unique facilities: Europe’s tallest Ferris wheel "Sun of Moscow" at 140 meters and the indoor entertainment park "Dream Island," including Russia’s only dark roller coaster "Flight in the Tunnel."
After completing installation and commissioning, cyclic testing will be conducted. The attraction must successfully pass at least 1,000 test runs with water-filled dummies before it is handed over to the amusement park and certification authority for final acceptance tests.
The attraction is designed for outdoor operation, allowing it to be used in various weather conditions, except during heavy precipitation (rain, snow). In winter, it undergoes conservation: the trains are stored in a heated room, and maintenance is performed according to the schedule and manufacturer’s recommendations, ensuring full readiness for the next season.
"Registration of the roller coaster will be completed after the work on the adjoining territory is finished. Final testing by the certification body, including a review of the structure, materials, safety devices, technical and operational documentation for compliance with Russian legislation, will take place in spring next year," clarifies Mikhail Kondratev, General Director of JSC "REGIONS-Entertainments."
The attraction is expected to welcome its first visitors after the official opening of the outdoor sector of "Dream Island" amusement park in summer 2026. The park will feature over 20 thrill rides, unique themed zones without global equivalents, an urban promenade space, a landscaped embankment with access to the water area, a green labyrinth, and other attractions.
