Believe it or not, one of the most notable themes on the F/W 25 runways was lingerie—specifically lingerie that leans more towards classy rather than risqué. Many of the boudoir-inspired styles showcased on the runways of Chloé and Miu Miu (among others) were elegant and possessed a cool vintage vibe. Notably, one of the trends emerging from this fall aesthetic is lace-trimmed dresses, resembling silky nightgowns suitable for outdoor wear. Kaia Gerber is among the early adopters of this trend, having recently donned a black dress in this style for dinner with Karlie Kloss in Malibu. While the trend isn't entirely unexpected, considering the popularity of lace-trimmed skirts and shorts this year, the dress trend still feels refreshing. It's clear that L.A. girls have a penchant for pretty dress trends, and Gerber, who embodies a pretty style, is likely to inspire many to seek out their own lace-trimmed dress. She chose a short-sleeve black midi dress featuring white lace trim and a black bow at the bust, which she styled with her favorite white Repetto ballet pumps. Another fashion notable, Bella Hadid, also recently wore a nightgown-inspired Mango dress in L.A., and yet another L.A. influencer, Devon Lee Carlson, celebrated her birthday in a lovely lace-trimmed dress.
