Summer technology festival from VKontakte's TechProsvet at "Dream Island"
On August 23 Dream Island and the TechProsvet community on VKontakte invite you to a festival of science and technology. The event will take place in the southern landscape park of Dream Island.
The program includes technology, space, robotics, creative workshops, sports activities, performances by artists and a unique opportunity to meet a real, currently active cosmonaut in person.
Visitors will see the newest technological developments and can take part in contests and prize draws from TechProsvet and partner companies: the developer of the Russian electric car Atom, the space company Sputniks, and the Museum of the History of the Universe.
The event’s special guest — a currently active cosmonaut, Hero of Russia and TechProsvet ambassador Sergey Korsakov — will share stories about life and work in orbit, modern space technologies and the prospects for deep-space exploration, and will answer questions.
In the lecture hall TechProsvet’s partners on VKontakte will talk about the latest scientific discoveries; guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a recording of the podcast “Mom, I’m an Engineer” at the “Voice of the Future” station.
The program will be rounded out by a vivid performance from the Jocker School art studio, and for the youngest visitors there will be a zone with entertainers and face painting where children can transform into space heroes, fairy-tale animals and fantastic creatures.
