Can you truly label a fragrance as nostalgic if you still wear it as frequently as your other scents? That's the question I ponder each time I apply Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy fragrance ($76). Although it’s considered a Y2K classic, my affection for it has never waned. This is why I felt both excited and apprehensive when I discovered that Juicy Couture had released a new fragrance named Just Moi. I was concerned that this new French-inspired release wouldn't meet the high standard set by Viva La Juicy, but I’m delighted to say that my worries were unfounded. Just Moi represents a new era for the brand—one filled with more boldness than ever before. "Juicy Couture's fragrances have long been cultural icons known for capturing attention and redefining fashion norms," stated Christina Martin Pieper, executive vice president of brand and lifestyle at Authentic Brands Group, the owner of Juicy Couture. "With Just Moi, we pay tribute to that heritage while ushering in a new phase that resonates with the upcoming generation. This launch demonstrates our dedication to thoughtfully evolving the brand, aiming to create products that promote confidence, self-expression, and individuality for the future." The stunning bottle design pays homage to vintage French champagne flutes, staying true to the brand's spirit and legacy. It exudes chic elegance, and I can confidently assert that this fragrance rivals its predecessor. For everything you need to know, read on.

      Just Moi Eau de Parfum

Key notes: Cacao blossom, magnolia, plum nectar, crème de cacao, vanilla orchid, jasmine sambac, cacao bean, sandalwood, warm musk. As I mentioned, I’m a dedicated wearer of Viva La Juicy, so I approached this new scent with caution. I knew it would be tough to surpass Viva La Juicy, which was the defining fragrance of the early 2000s. If you’re a millennial, you understand what I mean. Viva La Juicy essentially became the quintessential scent of our generation, cementing Juicy Couture’s status alongside its iconic tracksuits. From the design of the bottle to the fragrance notes, it remains a classic that demands attention. It’s sweet, juicy, and floral, featuring notes of honeysuckle, wild berries, caramel, and vanilla. I can hardly believe I’m saying this, but Just Moi has surprisingly taken the top spot for me. *Gasps.* The moment I detected it on my skin, I was smitten. This fresh release from the brand encompasses everything I adore in a perfume. It’s sweet and juicy (perhaps even more so than Viva), with a velvety, bold dry-down. The sweeter notes of cacao blossom, magnolia, and plum nectar stand out without being overwhelming or overly sweet. They impart an airy lightness that’s inviting and makes you want to lean in for a closer whiff. To say I’m enamored would be an understatement. Its longevity is also remarkable—I wore it for a full eight hours without needing to reapply, and I’ve never garnered more compliments while wearing a fragrance. The only other perfume that earns me a similar number of compliments is Parfums de Marly's Delina Exclusif. In summary, if you're in search of a warm, sweet, airy, and juicy scent, this will quickly become a favorite. I first experienced it on a sample stick, but nothing compares to how it smells on the skin. It’s easily one of my all-time favorite fragrances. Juicy has once again proven itself.

Viva La Juicy Eau de Parfum

Key notes: Wild berries, mandarin, honeysuckle, gardenia, jasmine, amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, praline. This is my other go-to Juicy fragrance. Alex Cooper (another millennial) is just as fond of it as I am. In fact, she even wore it on her wedding day.

      Parfums de Marly

      Delina Exclusif Parfum

Key notes: Pear, lychee, grapefruit, rosa damascena, incense, vetiver, vanilla, musk, evernyl. As I mentioned, this fragrance is my second most complimented scent ever. One time, an Uber driver even inquired about it because it "smelled so pretty." Those were his exact words, and I couldn't agree more.

      The 7 Virtues

      Candied Lychee Eau de Parfum

Key notes: Lychee, peony, vanilla. I have a strong affection for The 7 Virtues and its collection of clean fragrances. Candied Lychee is my top favorite from the brand. Like Just Moi, its sweet and fruity notes make a statement without being overwhelming.

Eden Sparkling Lychee 39 Eau de Parfum

Key notes: Sparkling lychee, rose damascena, vanilla absolute
