Sarah Burton Turned the Tables for Her Initial Givenchy Campaign—Check Out All the Images
Among a lineup of exciting new creative director debuts in 2025, one stood out to me: Sarah Burton at Givenchy. The former Alexander McQueen designer, who famously created Kate Middleton's wedding dress in 2011, was appointed as the creative director for both men's and women's collections at Givenchy in September 2024. "It is a great honor to join the beautiful house of Givenchy. It is a jewel," Burton stated at the time. "I am thrilled to write the next chapter in the story of this iconic house and to introduce my vision, sensibility, and beliefs to Givenchy." Her perspective is now becoming clearer with the launch of her first main-collection Givenchy campaign today (a pre-fall shoot was released in June). For the fall/winter 2025 collection, Burton enlisted a lineup of supermodels, including Kaia Gerber, Eva Herzigova, and Adut Akech, alongside some surprising faces. Used to working behind the scenes, Burton's longtime stylist Camilla Nickerson and makeup artist Lucia Pieroni participated in the campaign, as did the photographer Collier Schorr herself. "The beauty of all women inspires me—including my team," Burton remarked. "I aimed to capture the extraordinary women I collaborate with among the cast—authentic moments of everyone working together." Scroll down to view the new images.
