I Recently Replicated Elsa Hosk's Flawless Neutral Engagement Nails Using Two Classic OPI Shades.

      This year has been quite eventful for celebrity engagements. We first saw Zendaya and Tom Holland get engaged, followed by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce during the summer, and just yesterday, it was Elsa Hosk and Tom Daly. While many people are eager to admire engagement rings, as a beauty editor, my focus is on their engagement nails. Elsa Hosk's nails are certainly among the most stylish I've come across.

      What Nail Color Is Elsa Hosk Wearing?

      While we don't know for sure what nail color Elsa Hosk chose (I've been closely following her usual nail technician, @jenny.jennys), based on my research into sheer manicures and discussions with celebrity nail techs—along with my own experimentation with milky manicures—I suspect that Elsa is using two very popular OPI nail colors.

      I’m making an educated guess that her manicure combines the well-known Funny Bunny with Baby, Take A Vow on top. The sheerness of both colors aligns with Elsa’s engagement nails. Funny Bunny gives a milky white base, while Baby, Take A Vow adds a hint of cool-toned pink that leans slightly lilac.

      To test my theory, I applied two thin coats of Funny Bunny, followed by two coats of the aptly named Baby, Take A Vow for the perfect bridal pink. I must say, this might be a very close match if you want to recreate this look on your own nails. I used OPI nail polishes for my manicure, but you can also ask for these two shades at your salon if you prefer gel nails. If you're looking for a gel alternative, I highly recommend Essie's Gel Couture Top Coat, which applies and appears like gel while keeping my nail polish chip-free for about 7 to 10 days.
