Gwyneth Paltrow's latest Gucci boots have sparked a renewed enthusiasm for this trend from the 2000s.
A new chapter is beginning at Gucci with the arrival of Demna Gvasalia, the renowned Italian brand's new creative director and former Balenciaga leader, who has just presented his inaugural collection at Milan Fashion Week. Rather than a conventional runway show, Gvasalia opted for a variety of unique presentations, both online and in person. He first shared the lookbook images on Gucci's Instagram account yesterday. Today, he organized a star-studded "premiere event," during which celebrities, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Demi Moore, showcased the new styles. In addition, Gvasalia released a short film directed by Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn, featuring many of the actors who attended the event today. It’s a lot to process, but I’m ready for the journey.
Gwyneth Paltrow's outfit particularly caught my attention as it brought back a trend from the early 2000s: logomania. Her ensemble, adorned with a full GG monogram, included a pussy-bow blouse, an A-line midi skirt, and knee-high boots. I predict her boots will generate a significant buzz among Gucci shoppers soon. Scroll down to view Gwyneth Paltrow's logomania outfit and explore the boot trend for yourself.
