I came across this $19 blush at BTS during NYFW—now it has become my top choice for achieving dreamy, dewy makeup.
If you followed New York Fashion Week in September, you likely noticed an abundance of breathtaking makeup looks featured on the runway. As beauty editors, our role is to immerse ourselves in the bustling fashion week atmosphere, exploring behind the scenes to uncover trends that will emerge in the future. One of my last stops at NYFW was the PatBO Spring 2026 show, where I was immediately enchanted by how gorgeous the models appeared, showcasing some of Morphe's must-have cosmetics. The brand's Signature Lip Pencil, Lip Filter Hydroplump Soft Matte Lipstick, and Cheek Thrills Multi-Finish Face Trio particularly caught my attention. While I'm excited to experiment with new lip products, anyone who knows me understands my passion for dewy makeup and blushes that impart a glow. After witnessing how stunning these blushes looked on the models (just take a look at the photo below—gorgeous, isn't it?), I knew I had to try them for myself. If you're interested in how this versatile beauty buy performs, keep reading for my comprehensive review.
### About The Blush
The Morphe Cheek Thrills Multi-Finish Face Trio is regarded as a multitasking, multi-finish face palette. Each palette contains three different formulations: a cream, a balm, and a velvet powder. This variety allows you to customize your desired finish. You can use each product individually or combine all three. It is available in seven shades, ranging from reds and plums to light pinks and browns. Each formula is designed to be easily built up and blended, while also nourishing the skin with ingredients like avocado oil for hydration, mango butter to soften the skin, and phytomucin, which boasts antibacterial and brightening qualities.
### How I Used the Morphe Cheek Thrills Multi-Finish Face Trio
Applying the Cheek Thrills Multi-Finish Face Trio was incredibly simple. I began by prepping my skin with Tatcha's The Dewy Milk Moisturizer, one of my current favorites (you can read my full review here). While the moisturizer absorbed, I filled in my brows using Benefit Goof Proof Waterproof Easy Shape & Fill Eyebrow Pencil and Mighty Fine Brow Pen. After applying Maybelline Fit Me Natural Finish Concealer, it was time for blush.
I chose two of the available seven shades, selecting those that best complemented my skin tone. The first shade I tried was After Party. Drawn to this shade, I wanted to see how well the formulas layered, so I opted to start with the velvet powder. I applied it to the tops of my cheekbones, closer to my eyes, and slightly up my temples with a blush brush. I then layered it with the satin cream (located at the top of the palette) and the luminous balm (the highlighter found in the center).
The second shade I experimented with was Beach Bonfire, where I took a slightly different route. After preparing my skin in the same manner, I began with the satin cream, built up with the powder, and finished with the balm on top.
### The Results
I was very satisfied with the outcome of both shades. I particularly enjoyed After Party for its similarity to my usual preferences, as it provided the perfect slightly-sunburnt effect that I love. Initially, I was uncertain about Beach Bonfire, as it leans more peachy, a color I typically don’t choose, but I was pleasantly surprised by the final effect.
As previously mentioned, I applied the blush using two different techniques, ultimately finding that the cream-then-powder method yielded the best vibrancy. Regardless, both colors are highly pigmented and long-wearing while being easy to build without overdoing it.
### Is the Morphe Cheek Thrills Multi-Finish Face Trio Worth It?
I wholeheartedly believe the Cheek Thrills Multi-Finish Face Trio is worth the price. At under $20, you receive a three-in-one product, and I appreciate that using all three formulas isn’t necessary to achieve your desired look. One of my biggest concerns with many blushes is their lack of longevity, with colors often fading after a few hours; however, I was delighted to discover that these blushes held up well throughout the day.
Moreover, it eliminates the need to carry a highlighter in your makeup bag, which is perfect for anyone with a busy lifestyle. The packaging is also very stylish. Finally, I value the range of seven shades available. Having seen these blushes in action during New York Fashion Week, I can confidently say that they complement a diverse array of skin tones. I will certainly be incorporating this into my daily routine moving forward.
