Boucheron Jewels, a Mid-Century Masterpiece, and Tracee Ellis Ross: A Look Inside the Most Stylish Party in the Hollywood Hills

      I shouldn’t be astonished that a party hosted by a high-jewelry brand in Los Angeles attracts a crowd of A-listers, yet I’m truly impressed by the star-studded guest list that Boucheron managed to assemble this week. To celebrate the launch of its first West Coast boutique on Rodeo Drive, the Parisian brand hosted "A Cutting-Edge Journey Since 1858" at Harvey House, the mid-century home designed by John Lautner that was famously featured on Apple TV's The Studio. On Wednesday, Harvey House played host to celebrities like Tracee Ellis Ross, Laura Dern, Julianne Moore, Natasha Lyonne, White Lotus star Charlotte Le Bon, Gia Coppola, Elaine Welteroth, and Stephanie Suganami—each adorned with striking Boucheron jewelry. They all appeared otherworldly, but I must admit I have a particular fondness for Ross's accessories, especially the eye-catching extra-chunky Torque necklace featuring an onyx body with ends made of white gold, diamonds, and crystals, along with the Vendôme Liseré earrings set in white gold with diamonds and black lacquer.
