The All‑Russian Children’s Pop Choir “Pride” has released a new album titled “From Moscow to Sakhalin,” which became the winner of a special selection by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives in the category of musical audiovisual content for children and youth. The album premiered on October 31 and is already available on all popular music platforms. This project is a bright event in the field of children’s culture, bringing together music from different regions of the country and promoting creativity among the younger generation.

At the core of the album “From Moscow to Sakhalin” are new songs by contemporary authors and composers whose work is aimed at preserving and popularizing traditional family values. The album includes 10 songs by contemporary musicians, among them Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Voytenko, Dmitry Nortman, Vitaly Volkomor, Vladimir Ilichev, Artem Orlov, Irina Pavlenko and Maria Vorobyova. The project was supported by pop artists and musicians from Russia, including People’s Artist of Russia Diana Gurtskaya. She noted: “This album is an important and touching reminder of the values that unite our country. Supporting such projects helps preserve cultural heritage and inspires the younger generation toward goodness and family values.”

As the creators of the album say, “From Moscow to Sakhalin” is not just music but a living reflection of Russia’s soul, its cultural diversity and unity. Each song tells its own story, inspires and unites the younger generation. The All‑Russian Children’s Pop Choir “Pride” not only performs songs — it praises the values that connect different generations and regions of the country. Tracks on the album include “Happiness,” “The Future Is Us,” “Music of My Soul,” “Sing, Nightingale,” “New Year,” “Grandmother,” “The Land,” “We Are Children of a Great Country,” “Don’t Retreat” and “Preserve This World.”

The album presentation in concert format will take place on November 1, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Moscow State Academic Theater “Russian Song” under the direction of Nadezhda Babkina. Joining the young performers on stage will be artists such as Diana Gurtskaya, Askar Abrazakov, rapper ST, Rodion Gazmanov, Sergey Voytenko, Dmitry Nesterov, Viktoria Cherentsova, Vera Aldonina, Anna May, Alexander Yelovskikh, Elizaveta Dolzhchenkova, the band Chapaev, Anna Volkova, the group “Barbariki” and others.

The ambitious goals of the leadership of the “Pride” choir do not stop there. Their plans include creating a children’s pop choir in every region of Russia that will live on for decades and become a genuine national treasure. The choir is meant to become a symbol of unity, youth and spiritual revival, bringing together talented children from different regions into a single creative community. An important component of the project is fostering love for the Motherland and pride in its traditions and history.

      Information about the choir:

The All‑Russian Children’s Pop Choir “Pride” was founded in 2017 as a large‑scale cultural project under the leadership of composer and producer Yuri Gonchar. It brings together talented children and teenagers aged 7 to 17 from more than 60 cities across Russia. Its main goals are the popularization of choral art, the preservation of cultural traditions, the cultivation of respect for spiritual and family values, and the creation of a platform for communication and creative interaction among young performers.

Since its founding the choir has actively participated in the country’s major events, demonstrating high professionalism and inspiring audiences. Important projects include “Day of Knowledge with Stars in the Kremlin,” the All‑Russian award “We Firmly Believe in the Heroes of Sport,” participation in Irina Dubtsova’s project “Family Comes First” in the Kremlin, the memorial concert for Robert Rozhdestvensky “Echo of Love,” the radio station “Pride” music marathon “Here, Everyone Is One of Us,” as well as ceremonial events such as “Our Victory — For All Time!” for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the “Music of the Proud” festival for Moscow City Day, a performance at the evening “For Labor and the Fatherland” dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Order of Alexander Nevsky in the Kremlin, and anniversary concerts, for example Larisa Dolina’s “In the Circle of Friends.”

This many‑year experience confirms the status of the “Pride” choir as one of the leading cultural projects contributing to the development of youth culture and the strengthening of spiritual values in Russia.
