Island of Dreams has reissued the 1910 edition of the Circus Herald.

The cultural and entertainment cluster "Dream Island" continues to expand the universe of the show "Beyond the Circus" and announces the official resumption of editorial operations of the newspaper "The News of the Circus Backstage"!

This is precisely the very publication which, according to legend, was published from 1880 to 1910 and covered the most sensational events of the circus world. Back then its pages carried reports on the lives of performers, backstage gossip, jokes and even advertisements for parrots that could whistle overtures.

Today "Dream Island" brings back this legendary gazette about the heroes of the immersive show "Beyond the Circus" — the Krikk brothers, the mysterious artists of the old circus and other characters whose fates have become intertwined in stories full of secrets, anxieties and madness. The newspaper is rendered in pre-reform orthography and the style of the late 19th century.

"We want 'News from the Circus Backstage' to become something more than just a newspaper — a kind of guide to the world of the old circus. On the pages of the gazette we will lift the veil on backstage secrets, tell in retrospect about the fates of the main characters and the events that formed the basis of the show. Among the notes attentive readers will be able to find hints and clues that will help them understand the story more deeply and see it from a new angle. We plan to continue issuing the gazette so that the public can follow the entire path of the Krikk family step by step — their discoveries, experiences and trials," said Dmitry Ragozin, director of the Dream Island shows department.

The official opening of the immersive show "Beyond the Circus" took place in December 2024, and it has already been visited by more than 50,000 people. And now guests will be able not only to look behind the scenes of the old circus, but also to read fresh news from the past!

"The News of the Circus Backstage" can be obtained in the Dream Island amusement park, "in the 'Under the Dome' zone, at the very face of the mirthful clown."

And remember: in the world of the old circus even newspapers know how to come back to life!

      The show "Beyond the Circus"

The immersive show "Beyond the Circus" — a two-story live attraction filled with the atmosphere of the old circus, mystery and theatrical magic — will open the doors to a world where the line between reality and fantasy blurs.

It is a journey through 19 mysterious halls, each like a stage from a performance, where every movement, every sound, every lighting accent immerses you in another reality. You will become not just a spectator, but a full participant in the immersive show: surrounded by hundreds of interior details, impressive special effects and charismatic performers who will lead you through a labyrinth of images and emotions. This is not just an attraction — it is a circus that lives its own secret life on the other side of the curtain.
