Kate Middleton has just switched her classic nude heels for a luxurious new shoe color trend.
The holiday season is here, and the latest look from the Princess of Wales has become my go-to party outfit inspiration. Unfortunately, I don't have access to Queen Elizabeth's diamond earrings, but I can follow Kate Middleton's new shoe color trend. Dressed elegantly, Prince William and Princess Kate recently attended the Royal Variety Performance at Royal Albert Hall in London. Middleton complemented her ensemble with a pair of Art Deco earrings from the late queen's collection, a dark green velvet gown by Talbot Runhof, and matching Manolo Blahnik heels. Having covered the princess's style for over a decade, I can confidently say she has her favorites in her shoe collection. For formal occasions, Middleton typically opts for her nude pointy-toe pumps. This week, though, she opted for a rich, dark emerald shade to match her gown of the same color. I will definitely be channeling her style for my first holiday party this season. Scroll down to shop my favorite dark green velvet shoes.
