Every stylish person I know has this toothbrush, and I've just discovered it on sale ahead of Black Friday.
Electric toothbrushes have certainly evolved significantly from their bulky, low-powered, costly, and overly enthusiastic origins. After trying out numerous electric brushes over the years, I've learned that most of them either sound like power tools or stop working midway through use. It's a fact that toothbrushes, by their very nature, aren't glamorous beauty products. However, earlier this year, a shift occurred. It seemed everyone was buzzing about electric toothbrushes, particularly the Suri toothbrush—a somewhat upscale version of the traditional bathroom staple. If you’re anything like me, you couldn't miss the advertisements popping up in your feed in 2025. Honestly, even as a beauty editor, I found myself captivated by the allure of *effective marketing*. The Suri toothbrush's promises of being quiet, minimalist, and environmentally conscious caught my attention. I truly believe that oral care can be aesthetically pleasing and sustainable. So, after a significant amount of social media persuasion, I decided to give it a shot.

First Impressions: The Suri toothbrush has a sleek design featuring a soft-touch brushed-metal aluminum body with a minimalist look. It's compact and boasts a clean finish, enhanced by a magnetic mirror mount and its own clean-and-charge travel case.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Long battery life
- Eco-friendly
- Ergonomic design
Cons:
- Bristles may be slightly too soft
- Price point
- Lacks app connectivity
Key Features & Performance:
- Battery Life: Offers over 40 days of use on a single charge, requiring far fewer recharges compared to many competing brushes.
- Timer & Pacer: Equipped with a two-minute timer and 30-second interval feedback to aid in moving to different quadrants of your mouth.
- Noise Levels: Operating at around 54 dB for some units, it's quieter than many electric toothbrushes available.
- Sustainable Materials & Service: The plant-based brush heads and bristles, along with the recyclable aluminum body, distinguish SURI for its eco-friendly attributes. The brand also provides a repair service for certain models instead of requiring full replacements.

What I Love: This toothbrush feels premium, is quietly powerful, and is stable in hand. I prefer to keep my oral care routine straightforward, so I appreciate that there's no need for an app to maximize its efficiency. Beyond its excellent battery life and eco-friendly features, the ease of use of all the accessories is impressive. It operates smoothly, quietly, and includes a mirror-mount option that caters to my minimalist preferences.

What Could Be Better: While the Suri performs well, I wondered after a few uses if it offers the same intensity and depth of clean as some high-powered oscillating electric toothbrushes. However, considering the sale price of £84 during Black Friday, it's relatively affordable compared to more advanced toothbrushes, so my comparison may be somewhat unjust.
Verdict: Is It Worth It? If you're a design-focused, eco-conscious individual who travels often and values long battery life along with high-quality construction (even if aggressive cleaning power isn’t a priority), and you're looking for a single, reliable toothbrush rather than multiple upgrades, I would confidently recommend this toothbrush as a wise choice. However, if you struggle with substantial plaque build-up, significant gum-line problems, or prefer brushes with an extensive array of advanced features (like pressure sensors, multiple modes, app connectivity, etc.), the Suri might not meet your needs. That said, for an everyday toothbrush that meets the requirements of the average person, it represents a solid investment.
