      I've only had my earlobes pierced once, when I was a baby. In contrast, my friends have been getting their ears pierced multiple times since middle school. An ear stack can complement a range of aesthetics, from maximalist to minimalist, and ultimately, it’s just stylish. It’s no wonder that my fashionable friends frequently invite me along to their spontaneous ear-piercing appointments. I believe they will still be sporting numerous stud earrings in their older years. Celebrities like Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé, and Cynthia Erivo have also embraced this trend for years. They are the new wave of rock stars, continuously defining and redefining style trends. After much thought and the influence of my trendy friends and these celebrities, I’m finally close to getting a few piercings. In middle school, I was always eager to have a stack—and my parents were not as enthusiastic about it.
