We made our forecasts last September 2024, when the spring/summer 2025 collections were unveiled in cities like New York, Milan, London, and Paris, but it’s only now that we can see which trends have truly persisted with the arrival of summer. As it has arrived, we're excited to share the standout styles of the current fashion season.       Despite what anyone might say, the sudden popularity of culottes in 2025 came as a surprise. Bermuda shorts, yes. But the emergence of longer A-line shorts (or cropped A-line pants) wasn’t anticipated. However, after making an appearance at COS's spring/summer 2025 show in Athens and later spotted on Hailey Bieber during a shopping outing in Tribeca, these debated bottoms have quickly become a favorite among the fashion crowd for warmer weather.

      This summer, the focus is on effortless style, while “lazy dressing” reigns supreme, though people still desire a luxurious feel. At runway shows from Max Mara and Kallmeyer, for example, models wore relaxed outfits like loose button-up shirts over bikinis with column skirts, and oversized cotton sweaters paired with flats and bias-cut slip skirts.       Hailey Bieber has proclaimed the end of butter yellow, giving way to a new yellow hue she calls limoncello, and we’re embracing it. This color was prominent at her recent Rhode event (worn by her, her guests, and featured in her products) at a beach club in Mallorca, as well as on the runways during Chanel's spring/summer 2025 haute couture show and more.

      Say goodbye to chokers; a new necklace trend has emerged that everyone is embracing this summer. Long necklaces have taken the fashion world by storm, featuring various pendants such as shells, tassels, and stones.
