I have been with Hervé Léger for almost eight years, starting with its acquisition by Authentic Brands Group. Having previously been at Oscar de la Renta, I have always recognized the importance of a brand's legacy. Hervé’s history was a significant attraction for me; few brands possess such iconic heritage. From the outset, I have been dedicated to honoring that legacy while adapting the brand for today's woman. It's a careful balance: respecting the past while paving the way for the future.

      Do you know what initially inspired the creation of the bandage dress? Was there a particular moment or muse that ignited the idea? The bandage dress was never focused on a single muse; it was designed for every woman. The concept of wrapping bands of fabric around the body to create shape without traditional tailoring was revolutionary. It was bold, sculptural, and unapologetically sensual. The objective wasn't to conform to fashion trends but to develop a silhouette that flatters, empowers, and endures.

Getting the right tension and weight took time and innovation. We applied the same meticulous attention to detail and technique when launching our day dress capsule this past spring.
