Welch guided us through the new fall releases from Kohl's, leaving me aware of trends that I hadn't previously considered, yet are distinctly autumnal. Within these collections, there's a trend for everyone, ranging from chic minimalism to maximalism and even an effortless fisherman-inspired look. I was captivated by the soft texture of a leather midi skirt and I'm finally feeling inclined to try out boat shoes.       "My style assistant Courtney embodies this aesthetic. About six months ago, she visited my home in boat shoes and I thought, 'I'm not so sure about those.' But now, I'm thinking, 'I need a pair—they're so stylish.' We discussed these shoes in spring, but they are currently trending among It-girls. I've noticed a shift toward platform styles. To embrace the fisherman aesthetic, we’re also reimagining the classic denim jacket as a barn jacket.
