I've already started envisioning my fall wardrobe—27 stylish items I can't wait to wear.
The two seasons I look forward to the most every year are fall and spring. Summer and winter tend to be too extreme—either freezing cold or scorching hot. After experiencing a number of heat waves in NYC this summer (where I practically lived in a white Hanes tank top and my Lowen Midi Skirt), I'm ready for the temperature to consistently be around 70°. I'd be okay with it being as low as 60°. I like to create a wish list gradually, saving pieces I discover throughout the year. This method allows me to do some research beforehand, making it easier to curate and refine my selections rather than making impulsive purchases. I can think more purposefully about the upcoming season, and reviewing my saved items gives me a chance to contemplate what I truly want to wear. For my fall wardrobe, I'm adopting a capsule approach: I aim to include a trench coat, cashmere layers, tights, ballet flats, Mary Jane walking shoes, and a classic pair of jeans. I also have a list of brands I'm watching, like Paloma Wool, Gimaguas, Baserange, Charlie Beads, and Brooke Callahan. Here are 27 stylish pieces that have caught my attention while shopping for fall.
I just received this Cleo bag in the mail, so I can check it off my wish list, which makes me very happy. If you haven't heard of the L.A.-based brand, it's truly unique, and I highly recommend it.
