I waited a whole year for H&M's £55 designer-inspired boots to be restocked—now they’re available again.

      As someone familiar with the struggles of the unpredictable UK weather, I would never wish away the summer season. Yet, occasionally a prospective purchase surfaces that makes me feel less worried about the upcoming colder months, sparking a plethora of styling ideas in my mind. Last year was just such an occasion when I came across a particular high-street gem that could easily be confused with something designer. Enter H&M’s pointed-toe Knee-High Boots (£55).

With the ideal heel height, the perfect pointed toe, and a modern wide-calf fit, these boots would effortlessly blend in at any luxury department store among labels like The Row and Toteme. Though they are faux leather, the matte finish prevents them from appearing plastic. I opted for the black version, but I’m also intrigued by the brown option. It can be challenging for high street brands to get that shade right, but the bitter-chocolate color looks incredibly high-end in these boots. H&M has clearly done its research."
