We're more than halfway through 2025, and 90% of my purchases to date have come from these 11 brands.
As a fashion editor, I have a plethora of fashion brands on my radar, with newbies launching all the time. While I enjoy diversifying my personal wardrobe, there are certain reliable brands that I purchase and wear more frequently than others. It's not particularly intentional; rather, my favorite brands align with my aesthetic and lifestyle. Since I do 99% of my shopping online instead of in physical stores, I'm well aware of which labels suit me best and what sizes to order, minimizing the need for returns.
Now that the latter half of 2025 is underway, I’ve noticed trends in the types of pieces I've added to my wardrobe this year, including the brands I tend to favor. Honestly, none of the brands I’m about to highlight will be surprising. All eleven of them are highly popular, and for good reason—they consistently produce stylish and wearable iterations of the most desirable trends and basics that I want to wear every day.
So, without further delay, here are my eleven go-to brands for my personal wardrobe in 2025, along with my top current picks from each.
**Dôen**
Like many well-dressed celebrities, I am a big admirer of Dôen’s romantic attire. While people often think of its beautiful dresses and blouses first, don’t overlook its elevated basics that you’ll cherish for years.
**Dôen Hardy Top in Deep Crimson**
I was eyeing the Hardy Top in this hue last year, so I'm delighted it’s been restocked.
**Dôen Elowette Skirt in Noir Fleurs D'anemone**
Just pair it with a T-shirt and kitten heels.
**Dôen Pascual Jacket in Willow Bark**
The Pascual continues to be a highlight from Dôen—and for good reason.
**Posse**
If you saw me out and about at any point this year, chances are I was in something from Posse. The brand's quality and meticulous attention to detail are outstanding, and even the trendier pieces maintain a classic vibe, making me happy to invest in them.
**Posse Marilyn Shorts in Limoncello**
Don't blame me if these are sold out by the time you check.
**Posse Alice Polka-Dot Linen Minidress**
I already own this in solid white and black, but that won’t stop me from adding this one to my cart.
**Posse Thea Vest in Steel Blue**
**Reformation**
I’ve been shopping at Reformation consistently for over a decade, which speaks volumes about its quality. It unveils new arrivals twice weekly, and I often find several items I want in every drop. Its basics are just as desirable as its standout dresses, which is saying something.
**Reformation Fern Satin Shorts in Black**
I've already ordered them in two colors.
**Reformation Azure Dress in Gwendoline**
I've just found my next summer-to-fall buy.
**Reformation Inez Ballet Flats in Roccia Snake**
The snakeskin shoe trend is definitely appealing to me.
**Agolde**
I can hardly name another denim brand offering such a diverse range of classic and trendy styles. It’s common for me to order my favorite Agolde pieces in several washes, a testament to my loyalty. Plus, you should definitely check out the brand’s elevated basics.
**Agolde Valen Jeans in Essence**
I own four pairs of Valen jeans—enough said.
**Agolde Lydia Jacket in Khaki**
I can't envision an outfit that wouldn’t look stylish when paired with this.
**AGOLDE Ren High Waist Ankle Wide Leg Jeans in Ceramic Dark Old Rose**
Tan denim is very much in for fall 2025—just a heads-up.
**J.Crew**
This should be no surprise to anyone—who doesn’t love J.Crew these days? My cart is nearly always filled with at least ten items. The slip skirts and sweaters are my top picks.
**J.Crew Lace-Trim Slip Skirt in Matte Textured Satin in Regatta Blue**
This is definitely going to be my next J.Crew acquisition.
**J.Crew Featherweight Cashmere Shrunken Cardigan in Leopard Print**
I own plenty of cardigans, but I’m currently missing a leopard print one, and that’s about to change.
**J.Crew Barn Jacket in Waxed Canvas**
I plan to channel a British girl in the English countryside while wearing this.
**Staud**
Since Staud’s inception, I’ve valued my pieces from the brand. Every item category they produce (of which there are many) is top-quality, and that’s one reason it has maintained its popularity for the last decade.
**Staud Gus Relaxed Jeans Vintage Wash**
Staud just rolled out denim, and I can’t wait for
