All the experiences, outfits, activities, and meals of the Who What Wear editors during NYFW.

Although New York Fashion Week officially commenced on Thursday, the celebrations have felt like they've been in full swing since the start of the week, complete with numerous previews, dinners, kick-off parties, and a few early shows for good measure (shoutout to Rachel Comey, Ralph Lauren, and Brandon Maxwell). With the schedule fully underway, the city is buzzing with excitement, and our team of fashion editors is diving right in. Over the next few days, we will catch our initial glimpses of the spring 2026 collections. While the clothing is the highlight of the week, our team will also enjoy fantastic meals, take about 1000 rides via Uber, train, and bus, and, of course, don plenty of trendsetting outfits along the way. The week has us navigating the streets of Manhattan and crossing over to Brooklyn. We’ll be taking lots of pictures, engaging in group chats, and flooding our Instagram feeds with posts. Suffice it to say, our screen time has spiked dramatically. In simpler terms, we’re quite busy.

If you’ve ever wondered what a day in the life of a fashion editor at NYFW entails, you’re in for a treat! I’ve assigned each member of our fashion team to share their daily highlights, from their favorite runway looks to the pop culture moments everyone is discussing, as well as what they ate, drank, and wore. Keep reading for Team Who What Wear’s fashion week highlight reel and check back daily for updates.

      **Day 4: Sunday, September 14**

**Favorite runway look of the day:** Picking a favorite runway look is tough since there were many strong contenders from shows I attended, including Ulla Johnson, COS, and Jason Wu. However, if I had to choose, it would be this COS look featuring an incredible oversized furry coat paired with a matching scarf turtleneck. COS consistently delivers excellent outerwear. Plus, you can already shop the pieces from their runway—trust me, they’ll sell out quickly.

**Trend you're already seeing everywhere:** Feathers! Feather details and full feather ensembles have been popping up in several collections, including Ulla Johnson today. I’m all for this glamorous trend.

**Buzziest pop-culture moment of the day:** Our Fall Issue cover star, Jodie Turner-Smith, attended the COS show and hung out with us just before it started.

**The best thing you ate or drank:** COS offered champagne to enjoy before the show, making for a lovely toast with the WWW team.

**Standout moment from between the shows:** I love when we’re all seated just before a show, chatting with the editors about our favorite looks from the day. A good conversation is always enjoyable.

**What you wore:** For the COS show, I opted for a dreamy chunky cashmere sweater with exaggerated sleeves, an updated style from last year’s viral sweater. I paired it with relaxed olive trousers from Vince and the stunning The Row Margaux bag I sourced from Fashionphile. Also, I can’t forget to mention my super comfy ruched loafers from Bared.

      **Day 3: Saturday, September 13**

**WHO:** Eliza Huber, Senior Fashion Editor

**Favorite runway look of the day:** Joseph Altuzarra truly excelled for S/S 26. The entire collection felt very wearable yet intentional and cool, especially this look which marries casual items like a cardigan and knit bra with a striking fur skirt. It’s elegant, sophisticated, and playful. I’m not sure how suitable it is for a New York summer, but that wouldn’t stop me from wearing it.

**Trend you're already seeing everywhere:** Hoop skirts! This trend took me by surprise, although there have been hints at Alaïa in recent seasons. I noticed them at Tibi (in both belt attachments and skirts) and Altuzarra (gown version), and I can’t wait to experiment with this silhouette come spring.

**Buzziest pop-culture moment:** Kendall Jenner walked in the Khaite show, and videos of her strut went viral on social media, appearing as Reels and TikToks. This season has seen fewer big-name models on the runway in New York, so it garnered much attention.

**The best thing you ate and/or drank:** After the Tibi show, I took a few fashion friends to my favorite spot in SoHo, Crispy Heaven Bakery. The owner is incredibly sweet and presented us with a delightful bread plate featuring their specialties—it was exactly what we needed to recharge mid-fashion week.

**Standout moment from between the shows:** We all kind of lost it when we saw John Tucker, aka Jesse Metcalf, in line at the Ralph Lauren fragrance party downtown. John Tucker Must Die is a movie every late 20-something to early 30-something woman remembers, so seeing him in person excited us a bit.

**What you wore:** I saved this
