Jessica Alba, Julianne Moore, and other icons feature in Movado's newest campaign—we're absolutely enamored with it all…
Movado Icons Ludacris, Jessica Alba, Christian McCaffrey, Julianne Moore, and Tyrese Haliburton come together again for the Swiss brand's second chapter of its campaign “Always in Motion. Since 1881.” With a refreshed lineup of actors, entertainers, and athletes, Movado revitalizes the messaging from last year's campaign, highlighting the functionality of a Movado watch in daily life. “In our second year, we continue to enhance our storytelling by honoring Movado’s tradition and Swiss craftsmanship,” said Margot Grinberg, President of Movado, in a press release. “Building on the previous campaign, we remain committed to our essence with a concept inspired by the meaning of Movado ‘always in motion’—in Esperanto," Grinberg added in the release.
The established brand adopts a cinematic style in its latest campaign. Stuart Winecoff directs and photographs Ludacris, Alba, McCaffrey, and Moore, creating cinematic films and portraits. Winecoff closely captures the tastemakers in action wearing Movado watches within the L.A. landmark, the Harvey House. The midcentury modern home, designed by architect John Lautner, elegantly showcases Movado’s Swiss craftsmanship. “With pieces from our latest collection, they embody how our Icons move, create, and live, and how Movado plays a part in these moments,” Grinberg stated in the press release.
Winecoff portrays the movement and inspiration of the Movado Icons against the satinwood walls and cognac interiors of the Los Angeles residence. The sunlit setting reflects the gold tones of Alba and Moore’s Museum Bangle, seen flipping through scripts.
Movado’s Bold Quest captures Ludacris’s rhythm, while McCaffrey's athletic display shows how his Movado Museum Imperiale moves in sync with him.
Jennifer Livingston photographs Haliburton in Indianapolis, set within a mid-century home designed by Evan Woolen III, lending a similar architectural warmth to the L.A. environment. The Pacers’ point guard showcases the Heritage 1917 collection. Explore Movado’s latest collection to experience this cinematic narrative in the newest chapter of “Always in Motion. Since 1881.”
