Reformation has just debuted a jewelry line—here's what I anticipate will be the first items to sell out.

      There's a unique thrill when one of our beloved brands explores new avenues. A new category signifies an exciting chapter for the brand and introduces more stylish pieces for us to incorporate into our wardrobes. As a fashion editor with a penchant for shopping, I'm particularly excited, especially since it’s a brand like Reformation. Indeed, today the editor-favorite label launched jewelry as its latest category, with consultation from Clare Waight Keller, whom they collaborated with last fall to unveil a limited-edition jewelry collection.

      Reformation's new jewelry line includes necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets designed for shoppers who want to dress like trendy fashion insiders. "Our goal was to develop a jewelry collection that feels integrated with our apparel while also offering something innovative in terms of design and sustainability," explains Alison Melville, chief innovation officer at Reformation, to Who What Wear. Many items are inspired by vintage styles, featuring tassel elements, statement studs reminiscent of the '80s, cord pendant necklaces, and sculptural designs. "Vintage plays a crucial role in Reformation's design philosophy, which we emphasized here with streamlined Art Deco pieces and flashier '80s styles," Melville adds.

      In line with the brand’s sustainability commitment, the new jewelry is as eco-conscious as its desirable ready-to-wear clothing, shoes, pajamas, and handbags. This collection is crafted using archival stones (unused gemstones) and 100% recycled metals, including 24-karat gold, sterling silver, and brass. In essence, no new mining was necessary to create any of the pieces. "All materials in the collection are repurposed, including recycled metals and gemstones that have remained unsold at suppliers for at least five years, ensuring no new production from a sourcing perspective," shares Melville. The category was designed with circularity in mind, meaning Reformation jewelry can be recycled through RefRecycling.
